This guide has links to photos of vintage Dinky Toy models from the early 1930s to the 1970s. There are multiple photos per model showing different angles, highlight issue dates, variations between models, etc. for you to discover. The collection below is organized in a numerical order with the associated model description. The Dinky models over the years have been renumbered and sometimes hard to identify the version or year that it was issued. In most cases, the model identification or description is displayed on the baseplate that will help you understand what model you have or at least a clue on what to search. Using information from the baseplate, search against the details below when trying to identify your model.
A little bit about the guide -- The Dinky catalog below is organized by grouping the Dinky model by their original identification number and their renumbered versions. For example, the Alfa Romeo Racing Car was originally issued as 23F in 1953 and was renumbered to model 232 in 1954 and eventually to 207 in 1962. The guide below will list this model as 23f/232/207 - Alfa Romeo Racing Car where the similar model, with some variation, can be searched by identification number or description.
