The Forward Control Lorry was introduced in 1948 and subsequently renumbered to 420 in 1954. This model was available in cream, brown, red and other traditional colours with various coloured ridged hubs. Note the model number on later versions showing “420” on the baseplate.
Model #25r was issued between 1948-54 and Model #420 was issued between 1954-61.
